Inaugural exhibit in our NEW Gallery at 555 Washington Avenue, #150, downtown St. Louis. All media juried exhibit. No web-based or ceiling installed work. Open to St. Louis regional artists 21+ residing within a 200-mile radius of St. Louis. Juried from actual artwork, limit 2 created in last 2 years (2006-2008). Jurors: Artists Mark Douglas, Professor, Fontbonne University, St. Louis; and Kenneth Anderson, Professor, Department of Art & Art History, University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Entry form required (pdf available for download here). Registration deadline (entry form & fee only): May 3, 2008. Late entry w/$5 late fee in-person (with from, entry fee, late fee & artwork) only May 15-17. Deliver works to our NEW Gallery for jurying: May 15-17 (10 a.m.-4 p.m.). Absolutely no works considered for jurying after 4 p.m. May 17. Pick-up of declined works May 22-23 & May 27.

America the Beautiful and Beyond

August 11-late-September, 2008

Artworks that examine life in America through our diverse inhabitants, culture, environments & politics. Works that focus on America-the good, bad and the ugly. All media juried exhibit. Open to St. Louis regional artists 21+ residing within a 200-mile radius of St. Louis. Juried from actual artwork, limit 2 created in last 2 years (2005-2008). No web-based or ceiling installed work. Jurors: Roseann Weiss, Director of Community Art Programs & Public Art Initiatives, Regional Arts Commission, St. Louis; Brian Purlee, Production Director, The Black Repertory Theater, St. Louis.

Entry form required (available late May 2008). Deadlines & delivery dates to be announced.
