ART SAINT LOUIS PREVIEW PARTY

Help Art Saint Louis christen our new home at a special Preview Party in our new gallery at 555 Washington Avenue, #150 on Thursday, June 5, 2008, 5:30-8 p.m.

Join us for a sneak preview of our new exhibit, "Patterns and Pixels," check out our new digs, and learn more about Art Saint Louis exhibits and events.

ART SAINT LOUIS SERVES IT UP at rBAR

Thank you to everyone who stepped out on a blustery night to join Art Saint Louis for "Serving a Cause" at rBar on Friday, April 11, 2008.

ASL Marketing & Development Director, Kate Poss, guest bartended for the two-hour event--serving as her bartending co-hosts were Art Saint Louis member artists Ken Konchel and Terrell Carter.

rBar's "Serving a Cause" event generously provided that all cash tips went to Art Saint Louis, and our little fund raiser was a success--so, thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped a great cause.

GALLERY SHOWER

Thank you to our great volunteers, staff, generous donors, and the 70+ guests who joined us on Sunday, February 24, 2008 for our Gallery Shower event held at Art Saint Louis' NEW home at 555 Washington Avenue, Suite 150 (1st floor) in downtown St. Louis.

In addition to refreshments, games and a raffle, guests were able to meet Board members and fellow Art Saint Louis members, get a sneak peek at the new space, get a sense of what renovation work needs to be done, make pledges for purchases, volunteer time, and donate money towards the renovation costs.

On January 5, 2008, Art Saint Louis joined The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis for Kids ArtStart, a special free event. ASL Marketing & Development Director Kate Poss worked with over 100 kids (and parents) to create one-of-a-kind marble art masterpieces.

Kids ArtStart is a series of free family events focused on the arts. Held at The Rep on the first Saturday morning of each month from October through April, these events provide young children with an introduction to the arts and give families an opportunity to share the experience. Kids ArtStart events are interactive, entertaining and fun for all ages.

Kids ArtStart was hosted by The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis with local arts organizations and members of the artistic community partnering in the presentations.

UNWIND

Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the Fall of 2007 for the monthly UNWIND events held at The Westin St. Louis Hotel's Clark Street Grill.

UNWIND was presented by The Westin St. Louis Hotel, Alive Magazine and Art Saint Louis. Each month guests were treated to complimentary appetizers and beverages, live music and special art projects with Art Saint Louis member artists.

Leading art projects and exhibiting their artworks at UNWIND events during Fall 2007 were Art Saint Louis member artists Libby Reuter (August), Amy Firestone Rosen (September), Muriel Eulich (October), and Angelia Young (December).

HOPS ART

Art Saint Louis' first annual event was held Sunday, October 21, 2007, 3:30-7PM at Schlafly Tap Room, 2100 Locust Street in downtown St. Louis.

Hops Art featured digital slide presentation highlighting artworks by 50+ St. Louis area artists, a silent auction with art-related items, and a special buffet dinner created by the Schlafly chefs and designed to complement their handcrafted beers. Click here to view the invitation.
