JURIED EXHIBITIONS

From 6-8 times a year, Art Saint Louis offers exhibition opportunities for regional artists* 21 years of age or older residing within a 200-mile radius of metropolitan St. Louis (*open to members and non-members). Through juried, curated and invitational group exhibits, we expand the audience for artists’ works.

Calls for entries are mailed to members for each exhibition and are posted on this website. In addition, exhibit opportunities are listed in a variety of media outlets and online resources.

The duration of each exhibition is 6-8 weeks. Previous thematic shows have included Through the Looking Glass, Three Things You Should Never Talk About, and Open Space: Art of the Landscape. Five Awards of Excellence are selected by the jurors for each exhibition.

Our major annual juried exhibition Art St. Louis, The Exhibition is presented November and December. Two alternating biennial exhibits are open to Midwest regional artists residing in 9* states: Fiber Focus (presented in odd-numbered years: 2009, 2011) and New Works/Nine States (presented in even-numbered years: 2008, 2010). *The 9 states eligible for our biennial exhibits are Missouri, Arkansas, Illionois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.
