GRAPE ARTS

Grape Arts is Art Saint Louis’ Signature Fund Raiser, presented annually for 17 years in early spring. It’s an exciting afternoon of wine tastings with silent and live auctions of fine art and donations from the community, accompanied by music and appetizers. The event raises funds for Art Saint Louis, its community programs and exhibits.

17TH ANNUAL GRAPE ARTS FUND RAISER

Thank you to everyone who joined Art Saint Louis on Sunday, March 22, 2009 for our 17th annual Signature Fund Raiser, Grape Arts XVII. The event was held from 2-6 p.m. at Windows Off Washington in downtown St. Louis, MO.

Art Saint Louis was proud to honor John Cronin as Honorary Chairperson for Grape Arts XVII. John has participated and sponsored Grape Arts for over seven years. We are pleased to honor him at this year's event. We were also pleased to welcome back Master of Ceremonies, St. Louis radio personality Ed Goodman, Morning Show Host, Soft Rock 102.5 FM KEZK.

Held from 2-6 p.m., Grape Arts XVII was an exciting and energetic afternoon of art & wine. There were four silent auctions and one mini-live auction where guests will be able to bid on hundreds of original artworks, unique items and gift certificates for area restaurants & businesses.

In addition to the silent auctions, there were two different and unique types of wine tastings presented throughout the afternoon: from 2-4 p.m. fifteen wineries & wine merchants poured wines for guests during our Informal Tastings; then, from 4-5:30 p.m., guests are directed to the main event ballroom where they were seated at tables of nine. Guests were then treated to Formal pourings wherein they will have the opportunity to taste international, national and regional wines poured & presented by wine afficianados, vintners, wine merchants, restaurateurs, and collectors.
